Vanitas Still Life was created by Pieter Claesz. The 390 year-old work of art was made with the size: height: 39,5 cm width: 56 cm | height: 15,6 in width: 22 in. Oil on panel was used by the artist as the medium of the work of art. The artwork's inscription is - "signed and dated: PC. Ao. 1630". Today, the artpiece belongs to the Mauritshuis's digital collection, which the Mauritshuis is home to the best artworks of Dutch painting of the seventeenth century. Moreover, alignment of the digital reproduction is in landscape format with a ratio of 1.4 : 1, which means that the length is 40% longer than the width.
