The classic art painting called Theater (soldiers playing children) was created by the male artist Franz Anton Maulbertsch. The original was painted with the size: 34 x 22 cm - frame dimensions: 43 x 31 x 4 cm. Oil on paper, mounted on canvas was applied by the European painter as the medium of the piece of art. Furthermore, the artwork forms part of the digital collection of Belvedere in Vienna, Austria. This artpiece, which is in the public domain is provided with courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 4762. The creditline of the artwork is the following: purchase from art dealer Karl extinguishers and Anton Jancsy, Vienna in 1954. In addition to this, the alignment is portrait and has a ratio of 2 : 3, meaning that the length is 33% shorter than the width. Franz Anton Maulbertsch was a painter from Austria, whose art style can primarily be assigned to Baroque. The Baroque painter was born in 1724 in Langenargen, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany and deceased at the age of 72 in the year 1796 in Vienna, Vienna state, Austria.
