Funeral of Marat pumps the Cordeliers church, 16 July 1793. History painting. In the foreground, left, arrest by a police commissioner Charlotte Corday holding a knife. Beam lictor statuette candelabra, sans-culotte. In the background, the body of Marat, partially covered with a shroud is lying down on a raised bier. Next, exposed his bathtub, his bloody shirt and the block on which he used to write. A girl poses on her head a crown of laurel.
