Which materials can I pick?

The product dropdown menu provides you with the chance to choose the size and material of your choice. We allow yout to choose among the following variants:

  • Printed acrylic glass: A glossy print on acrylic glass, often denoted as a plexiglass print, will transform your favorite original artwork into great wall décor. With an acrylic glass art print contrasts and painting details will be more visible due to the delicate gradation of the picture. The acrylic glass protects your custom fine art print against light and heat for between 40-60 years.
  • Poster on canvas material: The poster print is a UV printed sheet of canvas with a fine surface texture. Please note, that depending on the absolute size of the poster we add a white margin 2-6 cm round about the work of art, which facilitates the framing with your custom frame.
  • Metal (aluminium dibond print): These are metal prints on aluminium dibond with an outstanding effect of depth, creating a contemporary look by having a non-reflective surface structure. The Direct Print on Aluminum Dibond is the ideal introduction to the sophisticated world of replicas with aluminum. The bright sections of the artpiece shimmer with a silky gloss but without the glare. The colors are luminous in the highest definition, details appear crisp. The direct UV print on Aluminum Dibond is the most popular entry-level product and is a truly sophisticated way to display art, as it draws attention on the replica of the artwork.
  • Canvas print: The UV printed canvas material mounted on a wooden stretcher frame. Further, a printed canvas makes a charming and positive effect. How do I hang a canvas print on my wall? A canvas print has the advantage of being relatively low in weight, which means that it is easy and straightforward to hang up the Canvas print without the support of any wall-mounts. Hence, a canvas print is suitable for any kind of wall.

Born in Bohemia, Mengs became the most important painter in Dresden, Rome, and Madrid in the third quarter of the eighteenth century. Whereas Mengs's portraits of prominent sitters are notable for their delicacy, meticulous detail, and refined beauty, his self-portraits are essays in truthfulness. The discolored swelling on his forehead is a physical defect visible from about 1760; declining health forced him to leave his position as court painter at Madrid in 1769, though he returned there between 1774 and 1777. This self-portrait was painted in Madrid in 1776 and dispatched to Genoa; three other versions of lesser quality are known.
