Gustav III, 1746-1792, King of Sweden was painted by Alexander Roslin in the year 1777. The original measures the dimensions: Height: 260 cm (102,3 ″); Width: 152 cm (59,8 ″) Framed: Height: 355 cm (11,6 ft); Width: 181 cm (71,2 ″); Depth: 25 cm (9,8 ″). Nowadays, the artwork can be viewed in in the Nationalmuseum Stockholm's art collection. The painter Alexander Roslin was a European artist, whose artistic style can mainly be classified as Rococo. The European painter was born in the year 1718 in Malmo, Skane, Sweden and died at the age of 75 in 1793 in Paris, Ile-de-France, France.
