The original artwork's inscription is the following: "signed and dated lower right: CANON / 861st". The artpiece belongs to the Belvedere's collection - the museum is one of Europe's most famous museums with three locations that blends the experience of architecture and art in a unique way. Moreover, alignment is in portrait format with a side ratio of 2 : 3, which implies that the length is 33% shorter than the width. Hans Canon was a male artist, whose art style was primarily Historicism. The Historicist painter lived for a total of 56 years, born in 1829 in Vienna and passed away in the year 1885 in Vienna.
