This painting was made by Gabriel Jacques de Saint-Aubin in 1770. The beyond 250 year old original version measures the size: 133 × 96 mm (ma×,); 158 × 125 mm (mount) and was painted with the medium oil, with touches of black chalk, on tan laid paper, tipped on beige wove paper. "Inscribed recto, lower left, in brush and black oil: "Aubin f. 177[?]"" is the painting's original inscription. What is more, this work of art is included in the collection of Art Institute Chicago.
