Original artwork description from Art Institute Chicago (© Copyright - Art Institute Chicago - www.artic.edu)
As court painter to the electors of Saxony, Lucas Cranach the Elder developed a simplified portrait style that catered to his patrons’ concern with dynastic continuity and princely status. His portraits of princes present a legible, if not always flattering, rendering of his sitter’s features and richly patterned costumes. The Saxon princess depicted her married in to the Brandenburg branch of the Hohenzollern family, and her descendants became kings of Prussia and then emperors of Germany. A companion portrait of her husband is now in the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

- Print on glossy acrylic glass: An acrylic glass print, often referred to as a an art print on plexiglass, changes an original artwork into wonderful wall décor. The artwork is being manufactured with state-of-the-art UV direct print machines.
- The poster print (canvas material): A poster is a printed canvas paper with a slight surface structure. It is excellently qualified for putting the art copy with a customized frame. Please bear in mind, that depending on the size of the poster we add a white margin of something between 2-6cm round about the artwork, which facilitates the framing with a custom frame.
- Canvas: A canvas direct print is a printed canvas mounted on a wood stretcher. A canvas creates the plastic impression of three dimensionality. Canvas prints are relatively low in weight, which implies that it is quite simple to hang up the Canvas print without additional wall-mounts. Canvas prints are suited for any type of wall.
- Aluminium dibond (metal print): Aluminium Dibond prints are metal prints with a true depth, which makes a contemporary impression throuch a non-reflective surface structure. The white & bright parts of the original work of art shimmer with a silky gloss but without any glow. The direct print on Aluminum Dibond is one of the most popular entry-level products and is an extremely stylish way to display artworks, since it puts 100% of the viewer’s attention on the image.
