Pick your material
The product dropdown menu provides you with the possibility to pick the size and materialaccording to your personal preferences. Therefore, we allow you to choose among the following options:
- The canvas print: The canvas print, not to be confused with a real painting on a canvas, is an image printed from a UV direct printer. A canvas generates the sculptural effect of three-dimensionality. Canvas prints are relatively low in weight, which implies that it is quite simple to hang up the Canvas print without the support of extra wall-mounts. A canvas print is suitable for any kind of wall in your house.
- Poster (canvas material): Our poster is a UV printed cotton canvas with a slight finish on the surface, which reminds the original version of the masterpiece. The printed poster is qualified for framing the art print with the help of a customized frame. Please note, that depending on the absolute size of the poster we add a white margin of approximately 2-6cm round about the painting, which facilitates the framing with a custom frame.
- Acrylic glass print: The print on acrylic glass, which is often referred to as a print on plexiglass, transforms your favorite original work of art into gorgeous décor. Additionally, it forms a great alternative option to aluminium or canvas fine art prints. The work of art is being made with the help of state-of-the-art UV direct printing technology. The effect of this are rich and impressive colors. With an acrylic glass art print contrasts and also color details become recognizeable because of the granular gradation.
- Aluminium dibond print: An Aluminium Dibond print is a material with an outstanding depth - for a modern impression and a non-reflective surface. For our Aluminium Dibond print, we print the chosen artwork on the aluminium surface. Colors are luminous, the details are crisp.

Original artwork description by The Metropolitan Museum of Art (© Copyright - by The Metropolitan Museum of Art - www.metmuseum.org)
A larger variant of the present composition, in which the shepherds are substituted by figures of Saints Francis and Mary Magdalen, is in the Doria Pamphili Gallery in Rome. Like the altarpiece, which is dated 1527, the present painting is a late work. The landscape is influenced by L'Ortolano's contemporary, Dosso Dossi.
