A partially nude woman sprinkles milk from her breast on a man’s viol. This enigmatic scene may represent Mother Nature, who inspires and nourishes Art. Van Hemessen was a leading Antwerp painter in the second quarter of the 16th century. His figures betray a marked Italian influence, especially in his use of soft, ‘smoky’ contours, the so-called sfumato painting technique.

- Printed poster (canvas material): The poster is a UV printed cotton canvas paper with a slight structure on the surface, that reminds the actual version of the masterpiece. It is particularly suited for framing the art print using a custom frame. Please bear in mind, that depending on the absolute size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin of approximately 2-6cm round about the print motif in order to facilitate the framing.
- Acrylic glass print (with real glass coating): An print on acrylic glass, which is sometimes labelled as a print on plexiglass, will turn the artwork into great wall décor. Beyond that, it makes a distinct alternative option to dibond or canvas fine art prints. Your own replica of the work of art is being manufactured thanks to modern UV printing technology. This creates the effect of deep and rich colors. With an acrylic glass art print sharp contrasts and small painting details become identifiable with the help of the fine gradation.
