In 1667 the Dutch painter Christoffel Pierson made this baroque artpiece with the title "Portrait or Joris Goethals (1584 / 86-1670)". The original has the following size: height: 37,2 cm width: 28,2 cm | height: 14,6 in width: 11,1 in. Oil on panel was applied by the painter as the medium of the work of art. The painting has the following inscription: signed and dated: Chr: Pierson.1667. This piece of art is in the the Mauritshuis's digital collection. The writer, poet, playwright, translator, painter Christoffel Pierson was an artist, whose artistic style can be attributed mainly to Baroque. The Baroque painter was born in the year 1631 in Hague, The, South Holland, Netherlands and died at the age of 83 in the year 1714.
