The more than 160 year-old painting East Rock, New Haven was painted by Unknown in 1855. The original measures the size - sight in frame: 21 1/2 x 29 1/4 in (54,61 x 74,295 cm). Oil on canvas was used by the artist as the technique for the work of art. The artwork forms part of the art collection of Yale University Art Gallery, which belongs to Yale University and is the oldest art museum of a university in the western hemisphere. We are glad to state that the public domain work of art is being supplied with courtesy of Yale University Art Gallery. Creditline of the artwork: Gift of Dr. and Mrs. Clement C. Alpert in memory of Cecile and Dr. Seymour Alpert. Further, the alignment is in landscape format with an image ratio of 4 : 3, which means that the length is 33% longer than the width.
