Mola gives the conventional subject of Mary and Joseph fleeing the wrath of King Herod the charm of an idyllic day in the countryside. It’s an approach popularized in the preceding century by Titian, whose pastoral landscapes Mola emulates on a small scale perfect for decorating a study or bedroom. The view across a valley towards the Alps recalls one he drew from his home in Como and the picture was painted before he moved to Rome in 1647.

Possible product material options

For every product we offer different sizes & materials. We allow yout to choose among the following variants:

  • Acrylic glass print: The print on acrylic glass, often labelled as a UV print on plexiglass, will turn an artwork into décor. Moreover, the acrylic art print is a viable alternative to canvas and aluminidum dibond prints.
  • Canvas: A printed canvas, which shall not be confused with an artwork painted on a canvas, is a digital image applied onto canvas material. Canvas Prints have the great advantage of being low in weight, meaning that it is easy to hang the Canvas print without additional wall-mounts. Canvas prints are suitable for all kinds of walls.
  • Aluminium dibond print: Aluminium Dibond prints are metal prints with a true depth. The non-reflective surface creates a contemporary impression. The bright sections of the artwork shine with a silky gloss but without glare.
  • Printed poster (canvas material): A poster is a UV printed canvas paper with a granular texture on the surface. It is designed for putting the fine art print in a personal frame. Please keep in mind, that depending on the absolute size of the poster we add a white margin of approximately 2-6 cm around the artwork to facilitate the framing.
