The Bièvre is a river which rises in Guyancourt (Yvelines) and flows into the Seine at the Austerlitz station, after crossing the 13th and 5th districts. In the nineteenth century it was lined with many tanneries. Since 1912 she is completely covered the entire length of his Paris route.
