This painting by the Spanish artist Nicolás Solano shows St. Katherine debating with the enthroned Roman Emperor Maxentius (r. 306-312 CE). He pulls his beard in frustration that Katherine has converted thousands of his subjects to Christianity. Even though his assistants prepare Katherine to die, her gold halo indicates that her martyrdom would be rewarded with eternal life. Part of a monumental altarpiece, the painting's message of faith and redemption would have been especially powerful to the congregation.

Canvas prints are suited for all types of walls.
  • Printed poster (canvas material): A poster is a printed canvas with a slightly roughened surface texture. A poster print is best designed for putting the fine art print with a special frame. Please note, that depending on the absolute size of the poster we add a white margin 2-6cm around the painting to facilitate the framing with your custom frame.
  • Aluminium dibond print: An Aluminium Dibond print is a print with an outstanding depth effect. For our Print On Aluminum Dibond, we print the favorite work of art onto the aluminium surface. The colors of the print are bright and vivid, the fine details of the print appear clear and crisp. This direct print on Aluminum Dibond is one of the most popular entry-level products and is an extremely stylish way to showcase fine art prints, because it puts 100% of the viewer’s attention on the image.
  • Acrylic glass print (with real glass coating on top): The acrylic glass print, often denoted as a plexiglass print, changes the original into great décor. Your favorite work of art is being custom-made with state-of-the-art UV direct print technology. The great benefit of an acrylic glass print is that sharp contrasts and granular details will be identifiable because of the very fine tonal gradation.

Legal note: We try everything to describe our art products as precisely as it is possible and to demonstrate them visually in our shop. Nonetheless, the pigments of the print materials, as well as the print result can differ marginally from the presentation on the monitor. Depending on your settings of your screen and the condition of the surface, color pigments can unfortunately not be printed one hundret percent realistically. Because all our fine art prints are processed and printed manually, there may as well be slight deviations in the motif's size and exact position.
