The masterpiece titled Untitled Sketch of six fishermen Spakenburg was made by the expressionist artist Leo Gestel in 1935. The artpiece forms part of the digital art collection of Rijksmuseum, which is the largest museum for Dutch art and history from the Middle Ages to the present day. Leo Gestel was a male painter, graphic artist from the Netherlands, whose style can be attributed mainly to Expressionism. The Dutch artist was born in 1881 in Woerden, South Holland, Netherlands and passed away at the age of 60 in the year 1941.
