This work of art The drinker was created by the male Dutch painter Jozef Israëls. The original creation measures the size: 47,5 x 38 cm. Oil on canvas was applied by the artist as the technique for the piece of art. Signed lower right: J. Israel was the masterpiece's inscription. Nowadays, the work of art can be viewed in in the Belvedere's digital collection located in Vienna, Austria. On top of that, alignment is in portrait format with a side ratio of 1 : 1.2, meaning that the length is 20% shorter than the width. Jozef Israëls was a male painter, whose style was mainly Historicism. The Dutch artist was born in the year 1824 in Groningen,Netherlands and died at the age of 87 in the year 1911 in Scheveningen, Netherlands.
