In the middle of the Grand Canal, a boat with two masts with her great bulwark welcomes the festivities of Carnival of Venice. The cannon shot caused a thick white smoke that hides part of the hull. This more than 140 year old artpiece was created by Félix Ziem. The original creation had the following size: Height: 83 cm, Width: 135,5 cm. Oil, Canvas (material) was used by the painter as the technique for the painting. The artwork has the following text as inscrption: "Signature - Signed lower right: "Ziem"". The piece of art is included in the digital art collection of Petit Palais - Musée des Beaux-arts de la Ville de Paris.
