The 20th century piece of art was made by the painter Eduard Veith in 1905. The 110 year-old masterpiece measures the size of 120 x 165 cm - frame dimensions (above): 132,5 × 180 × 7 cm - frame dimensions (below): 132,5 × 176 × 6 cm. Oil on canvas was used by the painter as the medium of the artwork. The original masterpiece has the following inscription: signed lower left: E. VEITH. The artpiece belongs to the Belvedere's digital art collection, which is located in Vienna, Austria. We are glad to reference that this public domain masterpiece is provided with courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 5847. Creditline of the artwork: donation from Federal Ministry of Social Administration, Vienna in 1968. On top of that, alignment of the digital reproduction is landscape with a side ratio of 1.4 : 1, meaning that the length is 40% longer than the width. The painter Eduard Veith was an artist, whose artistic style can primarily be classified as Art Nouveau. The Art Nouveau painter was born in the year 1856 in Neutitschein / Novy Jicin, Czech Republic and died at the age of 69 in the year 1925 in Vienna.
