Oil on canvas was applied by the painter as the medium of the piece of art. Today, this artwork is included in the Belvedere's digital collection in Vienna, Austria. With courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 5616 (public domain license). The creditline of the artwork is: purchase from art dealer Elisabeth Orssich, Rodaun in 1963. Furthermore, alignment of the digital reproduction is portrait with a side ratio of 1 : 1.4, which means that the length is 29% shorter than the width. Eduard Ritter von Engerth was a painter, whose style can mainly be classified as Romanticism. The artist was born in 1818 in Pless / Pszczyna, Silesia, Poland and died at the age of 79 in the year 1897.
