Allegory of Liberty on the ruins of the Bastille. Statue of Liberty on a pile of rubble, from which rushed Discord. Minerva in a cloud, holding a scroll with registration. Old infant. Demolition of the Bastille. Marquis de Lafayette. National Guard. Bayonets.

Allegory seems inspired by the second draft of Vieuzac Barrere (13 July 1790) which was taken up later by Palloy for a monument to raise the Place de la Bastille. The Statue of Liberty was to be placed on an obelisk made of the same stone of the Bastille.
