Artwork description from the museum's website (© - by The Metropolitan Museum of Art - The Metropolitan Museum of Art)

Christ is seated in clouds above a landscape, his left hand on an orb, his right raised in blessing, as he directs his gaze towards the viewer. The playful cherubs—especially the one peeking out beneath his blue cloak—and the illusionistic character of the composition are a sort of homage to the work of the great sixteenth-century painter Correggio. The picture was painted in Venice for Count Francesco Gambara of Brescia. Fetti had moved to Venice from Mantua following a fight with a fellow painter.

Select your preferred material

We offer a range of various sizes and materials for every product. Hence, we allow you to choose among the following options:

  • Aluminium dibond (metal print): This is a metal print made on aluminium dibond material with an impressive effect of depth. The direct UV print on aluminium is the most popular entry-level product and is a truly contemporary way to showcase artworks, because it draws focus on the whole artwork.
  • Canvas print: The UV printed canvas material mounted on a wood frame. It has a plastic impression of three dimensionality. A canvas print of your favorite work of art will give you the unique chance of transforming your individual art print into a large artwork. The great advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight, which implies that it is quite simple to hang the Canvas print without the support of extra wall-mounts. Because of thatcanvas prints are suited for all types of walls.
  • Acrylic glass print: The acrylic glass print, often named a plexiglass print, will convert the original into lovely décor. Your favorite artwork is made with state-of-the-art UV print technology. The great upside of an acrylic glass fine art print is that sharp contrasts and small painting details become more exposed due to the fine gradation of the picture.
  • Printed poster on canvas material: A poster is a printed canvas with a slightly roughened finish on the surface. Please note, that depending on the size of the poster print we add a white margin of around 2-6cm round about the painting, which facilitates the framing.
