This over 160 year-old painting was made by the realist painter Constant Troyon in 1855. The work of art measures the size: 45,8 × 37,8 cm (18 × 14 7/8 in) and was manufactured with the medium oil on canvas. Today, the artwork belongs to the Art Institute Chicago's digital collection located in Chicago, Illinois, United States of America. With courtesy of Art Institute Chicago (licensed - public domain). What is more, the alignment is portrait and has a side ratio of 1 : 1.2, which implies that the length is 20% shorter than the width. Constant Troyon was a painter of French nationality, whose style was mainly Realism. The European artist was born in the year 1810 in Sevres, Ile-de-France, France and passed away at the age of 55 in the year 1865.
