This 18th century artwork Portrait of a Gentleman was painted by the artist Charles Willson Peale. The beyond 240 years old original measures the size of 9 3/4 x 7 7/8 in (24,8 x 20 cm) and was painted with oil on canvas. The piece of art belongs to the The Metropolitan Museum of Art's art collection. The classic art public domain work of art is included with courtesy of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, Fletcher Fund, 1926. The creditline of the artwork is the following: Fletcher Fund, 1926. Moreover, alignment is in portrait format with a ratio of 1 : 1.2, meaning that the length is 20% shorter than the width.
