This 19th century artpiece was created by Carl Balsgaard in 1843. The original version was painted with the size of 14,4 x 11,8 cm and was manufactured on the medium overglaze-painted on porcelain. Furthermore, the artwork belongs to the Thorvaldsens Museum's digital collection, which is a single-artist museum dedicated to the art of Danish neoclassicistic sculptor Bertel Thorvaldsen.
