This more than 110 year-old piece of art Nature and culture was made by August Schaeffer von Wienwald. The work of art measures the size: Laterals: 105 x 40 cm central part 105 x 91 cm - frame: 142,5 x 209 cm. Oil on canvas was used by the painter as the technique for the painting. The original artpiece has the following text as inscrption: "signed, dated and name on the bottom left: Aug. Schaeffer. Vienna. 1905th". Moveover, the artpiece can be viewed in in the digital collection of Belvedere, which is one of Europe's most famous museums with three locations that blends the experience of architecture and art in a unique way. We are happy to state that the public domain piece of art is being included with courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 9848. : purchase from privately owned, Lower Austria in 2009. What is more, the alignment of the digital reproduction is landscape with an image ratio of 3 : 2, which means that the length is 50% longer than the width. August Schaeffer von Wienwald was a painter, whose artistic style can primarily be classified as Realism. The Realist painter lived for 83 years - born in 1833 in Vienna and deceased in the year 1916 in Vienna.
