This 18th century masterpiece Simeon's Song of Praise was created by the artist Arent de Gelder in 1700. The over 320 years old original creation was painted with the size: height: 94,5 cm width: 107,5 cm | height: 37,2 in width: 42,3 in. Oil on canvas was applied by the painter as the technique for the painting. Furthermore, the artpiece is included in the Mauritshuis's collection, which the Mauritshuis is home to the best artworks of Dutch painting of the seventeenth century.
