The artwork was made by the expressionist artist Anton Faistauer. The version of the masterpiece has the following size: 58 x 46 cm - frame dimensions: 85 x 70 x 9 cm and was manufactured with the technique of oil on canvas. The original artwork was inscribed with the following text: "signed and dated top right: A. Faistauer / 1926". Today, the artpiece is in the the Belvedere's collection. This public domain artpiece is being supplied with courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 4454. Creditline of the artwork: purchase from Robert Rieger, Vienna in 1951. Besides, the alignment of the digital reproduction is in portrait format and has an aspect ratio of 3 : 4, which means that the length is 25% shorter than the width. The painter Anton Faistauer was a European artist, whose art style can primarily be classified as Expressionism. The Expressionist artist was born in 1887 in Martin near Lofer, Salzburg and died at the age of 43 in 1930.
