In 1780 the painter Alexandre Jean Noël created the artpiece. The original artwork's inscription is: Signing of the running - On the front of the canvas, bottom right: "Christmas". Nowadays, the artwork is in the the collection of Musée Carnavalet Paris, which is a museum dedicated to the history of the city Paris.
