This 18th century painting Governor Gurdon Saltonstall (1666–1724) was created by Unknown. The version of the work of art measures the size: 52 x 40 in (132,1 x 101,6 cm) and was produced with the techinque of oil on canvas. This piece of art can be viewed in in the Yale University Art Gallery's collection, which belongs to Yale University and is the oldest art museum of a university in the western hemisphere. We are pleased to state that the artwork, which belongs to the public domain is being provided with courtesy of Yale University Art Gallery. Creditline of the artwork: Gift of Roswell Saltonstall, 1751, 1754. In addition to this, the alignment is portrait with a side ratio of 3 : 4, which implies that the length is 25% shorter than the width.
