The 17th century artwork was painted by the French artist Nicolas Poussin. The original version was painted with the size: unframed: 75 x 100 cm (29 1/2 x 39 3/8 in) and was painted with the technique oil on canvas. What is more, the alignment of the digital reproduction is in landscape format with an image ratio of 4 : 3, which implies that the length is 33% longer than the width. Nicolas Poussin was a male painter from France, whose art style can be attributed primarily to Baroque. The Baroque artist lived for 71 years and was born in 1594 in Les Andelys, Normandie, France and deceased in the year 1665 in Rome, Roma province, Lazio, Italy.
