The over 270 year old artpiece was created by the artist Joseph Badger. The original was painted with the size 35 x 27 1/8 in (88,9 x 68,9 cm). Oil on canvas was used by the American painter as the medium of the artwork. Nowadays, the piece of art is included in the collection of Yale University Art Gallery, which belongs to Yale University and is the oldest art museum of a university in the western hemisphere.
