This modern art piece of art was made by the primitivist artist Henri Rousseau in 1905. The over 110 year old original version had the following size: 32,7 x 41 x 2,2 cm (12 7/8 x 16 1/8 x 7/8 in) framed: 7,6 x 50,8 x 58,7 cm (3 x 20 x 23 1/8 in). Oil on canvas was applied by the artist as the medium of the work of art. This piece of art belongs to the art collection of Yale University Art Gallery in New Haven, Connecticut, United States of America. The modern art public domain masterpiece is provided with courtesy of Yale University Art Gallery. The creditline of the artpiece is the following: Katharine Ordway Collection. Further, the alignment is in landscape format with a side ratio of 1.2 : 1, which implies that the length is 20% longer than the width. The painter Henri Rousseau was a European artist, whose artistic style can primarily be assigned to Naive Art Primitivism. The European artist was born in 1844 in Laval, Pays de la Loire, France and passed away at the age of 66 in the year 1910.
