Bearing in mind that our art reproductions are processed and printed by hand, there might also be minor discrepancies in the size and exact position of the motif.

The version of the artwork measures the size 24 x 35 cm - frame dimensions: 57 x 68 x 9 cm and was painted with the medium oil on canvas. The original artwork is inscribed with the following text: "signiertund Dated lower left: C. Markó m.p. Ap.1860". Nowadays, the artpiece can be viewed in in the Belvedere's digital art collection in Vienna, Austria. This artpiece, which is in the public domain is being supplied with courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 4545. The creditline of the artwork is: purchase from the Dorotheum, Vienna in 1951. Besides this, the alignment of the digital reproduction is landscape with a side ratio of 1.4 : 1, which means that the length is 40% longer than the width. The painter Károly Markó d. Ä. was an artist, whose art style can be attributed mainly to Realism. The Realist painter was born in the year 1791 in Leutschau / Levoča / Löcse, Slovakia and deceased at the age of 69 in 1860 in Villa Appeggi in Antella near Florence.
