This more than 290 year-old piece of art was painted by the male artist Joseph van Bredael. This piece of art can be viewed in in the Rijksmuseum's digital collection, which is the largest museum for Dutch art and history from the Middle Ages to the present day. Joseph van Bredael was a painter, whose artistic style can be attributed primarily to Baroque. The Baroque artist was born in the year 1688 in Antwerp, Antwerpen province, Flanders, Belgium and passed away at the age of 51 in the year 1739 in Paris, Ile-de-France, France.
