This 18th century masterpiece Girl at a Window holding a Curtain was made by Rembrandt van Rijn in 1700. The more than 320 year-old original version has the size: 33 15/16 x 28 3/8 in (86,2 x 72 cm). Oil on canvas was used by the European artist as the technique for the painting. This artwork belongs to the Walters Art Museum's digital art collection. The painter Rembrandt van Rijn was an artist from the Netherlands, whose artistic style was primarily Baroque. The Baroque artist was born in the year 1606 in Leiden and deceased at the age of 63 in 1669 in Amsterdam.

In the past, the painting was described as possibly a copy after a painting by Rembrandt of his wife. There is no known painting of this composition by Rembrandt and the woman depicted has not been identified.
