This work of art was created by the male British painter William Etty. The original measures the size: Oval, 28 x 34 1/2 in (71,1 x 87,6 cm). Oil on canvas, laid down on wood was used by the European painter as the medium of the masterpiece. The piece of art is included in the art collection of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, which is one of the world's largest and finest art museums, which includes more than two million works of art spanning five thousand years of world culture, from prehistory to the present and from every part of the globe.. Besides this, the alignment is in landscape format with a side ratio of 1.2 : 1, meaning that the length is 20% longer than the width. William Etty was a architect, whose art style was primarily Romanticism. The Romanticist painter was born in 1787 and died at the age of 62 in the year 1849.
