The 19th century masterpiece was painted by the male painter David Monies. The 150 year-old artwork measures the size: 62,7 x 74,5 cm. Oil on canvas was used by the Danish artist as the medium of the artwork. It forms part of the Thorvaldsens Museum's digital collection, which is a single-artist museum dedicated to the art of Danish neoclassicistic sculptor Bertel Thorvaldsen.
