Fine art print materials which you can select:

For every art print we offer a range of different materials and sizes. We allow you to pick your favorite size and material among the following product individualization options:

  • Metal print (aluminium dibond): Aluminium Dibond prints are metal prints with an outstanding effect of depth - for a modern look and a non-reflective surface. A direct Aluminium Dibond Print is the ideal start to art replicas produced with aluminum. The white and bright parts of the original work of art shimmer with a silky gloss but without any glare. Colors are luminous in the highest definition, the fine details are very clear.
  • Poster print (canvas material): The Artprinta poster print is a UV printed canvas with a slightly roughened texture on the surface, that reminds the actual version of the masterpiece. Please keep in mind, that depending on the absolute size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin of around 2-6cm round about the artwork, which facilitates the framing with a custom frame.
  • Acrylic glass print (with real glass coating): A glossy acrylic glass print, often described as a UV print on plexiglass, will change your favorite original into beautiful décor and makes a good alternative option to aluminium or canvas fine art replicas. The major benefit of an acrylic glass art print is that contrasts and also small color details will be more exposed because of the delicate tonal gradation in the print.
  • Canvas: The canvas print, not to be confused with an artwork painted on a canvas, is an image printed onto cotton canvas. A canvas of your favorite artwork will let you turn your fine art print into a large size artwork. A canvas print has the advantage of being relatively low in weight. That means, it is quite simple to hang the Canvas print without additional wall-mounts. That is why, canvas prints are suited for all types of walls.

Christine Stampe paid a visit to Thorvaldsen at Charlottenborg in April 1839, and a close friendship soon developed between the two. She had helped collect funds for the museum and now became Thorvaldsen’s personal support. She also encouraged him to work, saving him from the excessive social life into which he was drawn in the capital by inviting him to her home, the mansion of Nysø near Præstø. Finally she and her husband and children accompanied him on the only visit to Italy he made after his return to Denmark.
