English: In the 1860s, Jeanna Bauck moved to Munich to study and work. Among her pursuits, she ran a school of painting for women. Here, she has portrayed her friend and colleague Bertha Wegmann at her easel. The studio, which has a window that provides natural sidelight, was in the house where they both lived. The rest of the room is fairly dark and full of interior details and artist materials. Wegmann later became one of Denmark's most celebrated portrait painters. Bauck was active as a portrait and landscape painter.

In the dropdown selection next to the product you can choose the size and materialaccording to your individual preferences. Therefore, we allow you to choose among the following options:

  • Acrylic glass print (with real glass coating on top): The acrylic glass print, often referenced as a print on plexiglass, will convert your chosen artwork into beautiful décor. What is more, the acrylic print is a good alternative to canvas or dibond prints. The artwork is printed with the help of modern UV printing machines. It creates deep and rich colors. The great advantage of an acrylic glass print is that contrasts and granular painting details become more identifiable thanks to the precise tonal gradation in the print.
  • Canvas print: The canvas print is a printed canvas mounted on a wooden frame. How do I hang a canvas print on my wall? The advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight, which implies that it is quite simple to hang the Canvas print without the use of additional wall-mounts. Therefore, a canvas print is suitable for all kinds of walls.
  • Aluminium dibond (metal print): An Aluminium Dibond print is a print with an outstanding effect of depth - for a modern impression and a non-reflective surface structure. The Direct Print on Aluminum Dibond is the ideal start to fine art replicas with aluminum. For our Direct Aluminium Dibond print, we print your chosen artpiece right on the surface of the aluminum material. The colors of the print are bright and vivid, the details of the print are very clear. This print on aluminium is one of the most popular entry-level products and is a modern way to showcase art, as it puts 100% of the viewer’s attention on the whole artwork.
  • Poster (canvas material): The Artprinta poster print is a UV printed sheet of canvas with a slightly roughened surface finish, that reminds the actual version of the artwork. A poster is excellently qualified for putting your art copy with the help of a customized frame. Please note, that depending on the size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin of approximately 2-6cm round about the print motif in order to facilitate the framing.
