Description

This piece of art was created by the male artist William Merritt Chase in 1888. The original had the size: 10 3/16 x 15 7/8 in (25,9 x 40,3 cm) framed: 18 3/16 in x 24 in x 3 5/16 in (46,2 x 61 x 8,4 cm) and was produced with the medium oil on panel. Nowadays, the piece of art is included in the Saint Louis Art Museum's digital art collection. William Merritt Chase was a painter from United States, whose artistic style can primarily be attributed to Impressionism. The Impressionist artist was born in 1849 in Williamsburg, Wayne county, Indiana, United States and died at the age of 67 in the year 1916.
