The 19th century work of art was made by Jean-Léon Gérôme in 1880. The 140 years old version of the artwork had the size: 32 1/4 x 26 1/8 in (81,9 x 66,4 cm) and was painted on the medium oil on canvas. Besides, this artpiece is in the the Saint Louis Art Museum's collection, which is a world renowned fine arts museum known for its outstanding and comprehensive collection spanning 5000 years of cultures and genres.
