In 1770 the artist George Stubbs made this 18th century painting. The beyond 250 year old original creation measures the size - 101,9 x 127,6 cm (40 1/8 x 50 1/4 in) unframed: 96,52 x 125,73 cm (38 x 49 1/2 in) framed: 119,38 x 144,78 cm (47 x 57 in). Oil on canvas was applied by the artist as the technique for the artpiece. Nowadays, this artpiece can be viewed in in the Yale University Art Gallery's digital collection. The painter, non-fiction writer George Stubbs was an artist, whose artistic style can primarily be assigned to Romanticism. The Romanticist artist was born in the year 1724 in Liverpool urban district, England, United Kingdom, unitary authority and deceased at the age of 82 in 1806.
