Like the other frescoes in this gallery, this allegorical figure of Arithmetic, identified by the inscription on the base of the feigned statue, is from the Palazzo Valle-Marchesini-Sala in Vicenza. The simulated architecture, foreshortened from a viewing point in the center of the room, was carried out by a specialist in this type of work, Girolamo Mengozzi Colonna, who collaborated with Tiepolo on a number of commissions. The frescoes were probably commissioned by Count Giorgio Marchesini, and their iconography may reflect his particular interest in Freemasonry. They were detached from the palace about 1900.

  • Metal print (aluminium dibond): An Aluminium Dibond print is a print with an impressive depth effect. A direct Direct Print on Aluminum Dibond is your ideal start to the sophisticated world of art replicas on alu. The white & bright sections of the work of art shimmer with a silky gloss but without any glow. The colors are luminous in the highest definition, the details of the print appear crisp.

A canvas print of your favorite artwork will allow you to transform your art print into a large artwork as you know from galleries. The advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight. This means, it is easy to hang up your Canvas print without additional wall-mounts.
