Possible material choices

The product dropdown menu gives you the chance to choose the size and materialaccording to your personal preferences. Select your preferred size and material between the following choices:

  • Aluminium print (aluminium dibond): These are metal prints on aluminium dibond with a true depth effect. The non-reflective surface structure make a modern look. A direct Direct Print on Aluminum Dibond is the best introduction to fine art replicas with aluminum. For the Direct Print On Aluminum Dibond, we print your work of art on the aluminium white-primed surface. The bright & white parts of the original artwork shimmer with a silk gloss but without the glare. The colors of the print are luminous and vivid, fine details of the print appear crisp.
  • The acrylic glass print (with real glass coating): An print on acrylic glass, often referenced as a UV print on plexiglass, will turn your favorite artwork into marvellous décor and forms a great alternative to canvas or aluminium dibond prints. Your own replica of the artwork is made with modern UV print machines. This creates intense and sharp colors.
  • Printed poster (canvas material): A poster print is a UV printed sheet of canvas with a nice structure on the surface. A print poster is ideally qualified for placing the art print with the help of a custom-made frame. Please note, that depending on the absolute size of the poster print we add a white margin 2 - 6cm round about the print, which facilitates the framing with a custom frame.
  • The canvas print: The UV printed canvas material applied on a wooden frame. How can I hang a canvas on my wall? Canvas prints are relatively low in weight, meaning that it is easy and straightforward to hang your Canvas print without any wall-mounts. A canvas print is suited for any type of wall.

Important legal note: We try everything in order to describe our art products in as much detail as possible and to illustrate them visually on the respective product detail pages. Although, the pigments of the print materials and the printing may differ somehwat from the image on the device's screen. Depending on your screen settings and the quality of the surface, colors might not be printed one hundret percent realistically. In view of the fact that all the are processed and printed manually, there may as well be slight discrepancies in the size and exact position of the motif.

General information by Rijksmuseum website (© - by Rijksmuseum - Rijksmuseum)

This small painting was probably executed en plein air, much as the artist in this boat is doing. A piece of paper is clipped to the lid of his paintbox. He uses a maulstick as a support while painting. The brilliant backlighting creates a powerful light-dark contrast in this painting. A striking element of the composition is the diagonal placement of the pollard willow, which blocks the view of the landscape.
