English: Rosa Bonheur was one of the most famous painters of animals of her time. This wild cat is an excellent example of her realistic way of portraying animals. Bonheur was genuinely interested in the animals she depicted. In addition to a large number of dogs, birds and cats, she also had an otter, Mouflon sheep and lions. In 1853, at the age of 31, she gained wide recognition for her monumental painting The Horse Market. Bonheur’s choice of subjects required her to frequent places where it was impractical to wear long skirts. In 1857, the police granted her permission to wear trousers in public.

Pick your material

For every fine art print we offer a range of different materials and sizes. Choose among the following product options now to match your preferences in size and material:

  • The glossy acrylic glass print (with real glass coating on top): An acrylic glass print, often labelled as a UV print on plexiglass, changes the original work of art into stunning décor and makes a viable alternative to canvas or aluminium dibond fine art prints. Your own replica of the artwork is printed with state-of-the-art UV direct print technology.
  • Metal (aluminium dibond print): Aluminium Dibond prints are prints on metal with an impressive effect of depth - for a modern impression and non-reflective surface. For our Aluminium Dibond option, we print your selected artpiece right onto the surface of the aluminum composite. Colors are luminous and vivid, fine details of the print appear clear and crisp, and you can perceive a matte appearance of the art print surface.
  • The canvas print: The canvas print, not to be confused with a real artwork painted on a canvas, is a digital replica printed onto cotton canvas material. How can I hang a canvas print on my wall? Canvas Prints have the advantage of being low in weight, which means that it is quite simple to hang up the Canvas print without extra wall-mounts. A canvas print is suitable for any kind of wall.
  • Poster print (canvas material): A poster is a UV printed canvas paper with a fine surface finish. A print poster is suited for placing your art print using a custom-made frame. Please keep in mind, that depending on the size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin of around 2-6 cm around the painting in order to facilitate the framing with your custom frame.
