Explanation

In 1854 Johann Peter Krafft painted this modern art masterpiece titled "The Rhône glacier". The beyond 160 year old original had the following size - frameless: 37 × 52,3 cm and was produced on the medium oil on canvas. Moveover, this artwork is included in the digital art collection of Belvedere, which is one of Europe's most famous museums with three locations that blends the experience of architecture and art in a unique way. This modern art public domain masterpiece is being provided with courtesy of © Belvedere, Vienna, inventory number: 4795. Additionally, the work of art has the creditline: purchase from Thea Aichelburg-Zossenegg, Vienna in 1955. What is more, the alignment of the digital reproduction is in landscape format and has an aspect ratio of 1.4 : 1, which means that the length is 40% longer than the width. Johann Peter Krafft was a male painter, whose style can be attributed primarily to Realism. The Realist artist lived for a total of 76 years, born in the year 1780 in Hanau, Hessen state, Germany and died in 1856.
