Waldmüller knew the dress maker's daughter Anna Bayer (1824-1897) for several years. A marriage, however, was excluded under the former legislation because Waldmüller since 1814 k with. k. Court Opera Singer Catherine Waldmüller born, Weidner, when married was, even though the couple was separated for many years. After his wife died in November 1850 married Waldmüller and Anna Bayer on January 14, 1851 in Vienna's St. Stephen's Cathedral. It is not to overlook the fact that he has his 25-year-old woman loved, because the portrait that emerged shortly before the wedding, fanned as much sensuality as worship. Furthermore, alignment is in portrait format with a ratio of 1 : 1.2, which means that the length is 20% shorter than the width. Ferdinand Georg Waldmüller was a male painter of Austrian nationality, whose art style can primarily be attributed to Realism. The Austrian artist was born in 1793 in Vienna and died at the age of 72 in the year 1865 in Hinterbrühl bei Wien.
