This painting was painted by the realist painter Christen Dalsgaard. The original was painted with the absolute size: Dimensions netto: 38 x 28 cm, Dimensions brutto: 47,8 x 39 x 8,5 cm. Oil on pasteboard, laid down on canvas was applied by the Danish painter as the medium of the painting. It is included in the collection of Statens Museum for Kunst (National Gallery of Denmark), which is the largest museum of fine arts in Denmark and is attached to the Danish Ministry of Culture.. The painter Christen Dalsgaard was an artist from Denmark, whose art style was primarily Realism. The artist was born in 1824 in Krabbesholm, Denmark and passed away at the age of 83 in the year 1907 in Sorø, Denmark.
