This painting "The Old Lacemaker" was made by the Dutch artist Nicolaes Maes in 1655. The original has the size of height: 38,8 cm width: 35,9 cm | height: 15,3 in width: 14,1 in. Oil on panel was used by the painter as the medium of the masterpiece. The original artwork was inscribed with the following information: signed: N. MAES. Moveover, the artpiece is included in the Mauritshuis's art collection, which the Mauritshuis is home to the best artworks of Dutch painting of the seventeenth century.
